Like many couples I meet, Jennifer and Keith expressed how they felt awkward when photographed and didn’t like the idea of being posed too much.
Evergreen brickworks is a green space juxtaposed by urban landscape. It doesn’t look like much from a distance when driving by it on the highway, but when you are there, it truly feels like a little pocket of oasis in this urban city. Like many couples I meet, Jennifer and Keith expressed how they felt awkward when photographed and didn’t like the idea of being posed too much. So for their engagement photoshoot, I suggested that we do what they like to do when they hang out.
Jennifer and Keith biked from their home in downtown Toronto. I wished that I had brought my bike as well, though I haven’t mastered biking and shooting at the same time. We explored bit of the park surrounding Evergreen Brickworks, finding interesting spots, and walked up a hill to overlook the cityline. I have a feeling this place will look absolutely gorgeous in fall or maybe even winter for that matter. I’m not too sure if the walk up the hill will be possible or even accessible. Anyone want to find out?
