Trying to come up with an engagement session idea can be hard! Candice & Keith originally wanted to have an engagement session at a music festival, but having never been to it before, they wanted to choose a place they know better and where they have some privacy. They chose this park close to home in Scarborough and it couldn’t have been better. The best part about this super cute Toronto engagement session was all their preparations: champagne, marshmallows, and sparklers. Preparing activities to do make the engagement session fun and redirect your focus on each other and not so much on being photographed. And it definitely helps if you can drink some champagne and munch of maple marshmallows! Seriously, why haven’t I discovered maple marshmallows before?

Some tips for engagement shoot preparations (what to bring):

1. Bring some props if you feel like it’s something that represents you! A book, chessboard, champagne?

2. Bring flip flops and towels if you are going to a lake or the beach.

3. Bring mosquito repellent – if you are taking photographs during summer time, especially close to sunset, it’s best to prepare ahead! We did get few bites here and there for this session!

3. Lastly, bring water, because you will be thirsty!
